Remo Power Stroke 3

So I seem to be converting to Remo lately. I've played Evans for a really long time but, to be honest, got kinda bored with them. As you know I have the black suede emperors on my toms and the emperor x on my snare. I was finally able to get into the recording studio and record that video I've been talking about, but I had a problem. My EQ3 cracked in a rehearsal the night before... again. I went to the store yesterday afternoon and decided to go with the classes Remo Powerstroke 3. I had an audition for a band a week ago and the bass drum at Sound Clash Studios had this head on there. It had punch, attack and volume. I put the p3 on my bass drum and it sounded great. For $15 less that an Evans eq2 or 3 I had more attack, punch, and volume. I'm a little weary about the durability of a single ply head due to the fact that I'm a heavy hitter but we'll certainly see. From my little experience with the p3.. I'd definitely say I'd by it again..
here's a small hint from the video.. this audio will NOT be used.. and most likely neither will the shot..

Black suede vid...

So I finally got around to making a video of my drums with the new black suede heads on them.. it was made with a flip so it's gonna sound like crap. This Sunday I'll be making a video in HD and it'll be in a recording studio completely mic'd up so it'll sound amazing.. check em out!!!
You can also see me rocking out on them here...
